Summer Puzzles #1
If you’ve listened to Little Miss Pouty Pants, you know that we have been thinking about how summer looks a little different this year. Here are a few puzzles that have helped us rejoice in summer and the Good things we still can enjoy. These puzzles have been especially helpful for kiddos sitting through church services. Do you have a puzzler in your family? Upload your finished puzzles and share on Instagram or Facebook!!
Biography of God: Psalm 18:16-19
Who is God? This is one of the most important questions we can ask! Use these guides to help build your own biography of God. Choose a book of the Bible (we recommend the Psalms!) and read through it slowly looking for the answer to these questions:
What is God like?
What does God do?
As we learn more about who God is, it will change the way we interact with Him. The more we know Him, the better we can love Him!
What will you learn about God today?
Joseph Story Dice
Practice re-telling the story of Joseph with these story dice! Color with your children and once assembled have them roll the dice and then find a way to narrate part of the story by the pictures shown.
I pray these will offer you many opportunities to rehearse:
God will always make a way to rescue His people.
God is faithful.
We should faithfully obey God even when it doesn’t make sense or is difficult.
Jesus rescued us by taking punishment in our place, even when He didn’t deserve it.
Psalm 23:1-3
God is so good to give us what we need and even more to give us things that thrill our soul. What can you find to praise Him for this week? What summer joys has He sent your way to remind you that He is your shepherd?
If you haven’t listened yet, check out this episode of Miss Pouty Pants when she learns how even popsicles are a reminder of God’s goodness.

We need someone outside of ourselves to rescue us!

Romans 12:10
“Who is outdoing in showing honor?” We are called to have the mind of Christ - a servant - in our interactions with one another. Let’s intend to show honor today.
Ask your kids:
what are some ways you can show honor to the people in our family?
what makes it hard to do those things?
who can help us show honor? How can we remember to show honor throughout the day?
